Busy Day

I'm taking a moment while here at work to fill in the remainder of my day. I also enjoy a productive day and yesterday turned out to be a good one.

After leaving to go shopping, the weather turned out not to be too bad. The sun came out, although it stayed a little overcast and was still a little cool. I limited my purchases at Walmart and then hit Fareway big time. With the weather getting cooler, it was past time to stock up my pantry.

I got home and put everything away. Then finished the laundry, did the dishes, and got out my halloween decorations. By this time, the kids got home from school and there is always catching up to do when Ty arrives. The older girls decided to stay for the JV football game. I had to pick them up around 8.

I warmed up the leftover chili from the night before for supper and made cornbread to go along with it. The chili didn't turn out as good as we usually make it. We only had a can of Rotel tomatoes to put in it and that made it extra spicy hot, which I don't like. We were also out of chili beans, so we substituted black beans, which I love. Good thing I stocked up because now I have plenty of the ingredients that I normally use.

Well, maybe I'll add more later, for now I have to go.
